Canton's Timmy Ward has been in many battles on the football field, and wrestling mat. He's been in must-win games, and huge wrestling matches.
CANTON — One of the most important qualities in offense is trust.
WESTFIELD – With perfect football weather to start the season, Wellsboro seemed to be at mid-season form with their 49-6 victory over Cowanesque Valley. Karter Witmer and Silas Wagaman led the Hornets through the air while Aidan Hauser led on the ground. HW² accounted for all of Wellsboro's scores.
MIFFLINBURG — With a healthy Jase Wright in the backfield and the Wing-T offense being reinstalled at Hughesville under first-year coach Adam Gehr, the Spartans were understandably optimistic heading into their season opener at Mifflinburg, which was believed to be Hughesville's first regular season trip into the Western part of Union County since 1991.
His career started with an award and, now Gary Raupers caps his career with another award.
It's starting to become an annual thing.
Kaeden Mann had his most dominant sports season in the Fall. Hailey Jayne had her biggest moments in the Spring.
For the past several seasons Canton linebacker Kaden Martell was haunting opposing offenses.
Several locals made the Eastern PA Football All-Star team for Class A and AA.
For the second year in a Wellsboro's Quinn Henry was named The Daily and Sunday Review 2017 football Player of the Year.
