Behind 213 passing yards from Andy Andreychik, Danville held off Mt. Carmel 38-28 to advance to the District Four final.
Andreychik got the Ironmen on the board first with an 11 yard hook-up with Mikael Owens-Wright. The kick failed, giving Danville a 6-0 lead.
Mt. Carmel came back as Cody Shustack ran 12 yards in for the score. After the Ian Kanezo kick, the Red Tornadoes led 7-6.
Meyrick Lamb added to that lead in the second quarter with a 34 yard scoring run. After the Kanezo kick, Mt. Carmel led 14-6.
After that, it was all Danville.
Andreychik would hit Garrett Llewellyn for back-to-back scores of seven yards and 75 yards to take a 21-14 lead.
Tyler Hodge tied things up for Mt. Carmel with a 75 yard kick-off return, but just before the half, Andreychik gave the Ironmen the lead, this time with his legs, scampering 16 yards for the score.
Danville extended their lead in the third quarter with a Dylan Friday 22 yard field goal, going up 31-21.
Mt. Carmel cut it to three points in the fourth as Rob Varano hit Lamb with a 36 yard scoring pass play, but Andreychik sealed the win for Danville with a three yard scoring punch, giving the Ironmen the 38-28 win.
Anthony Sori led Danville on the ground with 125 yards on 19 carries while Russell Heath had 85 yards on 18 rushes. Andreychik added 50 yards on six carries.
Llewellyn was the top receiver, hauling in six catches for 152 yards.
Lamb led the Tornadoes with 130 yards on 14 caries while Varano threw for 155 yards on 9-of-18 passing, but had two picks.
Danville will face either Towanda or Lewisburg in the District Four title game next weekend.
