Southern Columbia captured another District Four, Class A title as they blew out Line Mountain, 48-13.
Jake Townsend was 5-for-5 for 95 yards and two touchdowns threw the air, while also running for one to propel the Tigers to a win.
Townsend started off the scoring with a one yard plunge in the first quarter. After the Colton Yeick kick Southern led 7-0.
Townsend then struck Line Mountain from the air with a 32 yard pass to Tyrell Thomas. After the Yeick kick the Tigers led 14-0.
Line Mountain struck back as Marty Beninsky scampered 59 yards for the score. After the Spenser Snyder kick Line cut the lead to 14-7 at the end of the opening quarter.
It was all Tigers in the second quarter.
Jake Morton had two second quarter scores for Southern, one for five yards and another for 95. Townsend then hit Keith Day for a 22 yard score before the half to give Southern a 35-7 lead at the break.
The Tigers kept it up in the third as Thomas ran for a nine yard score. After the Yeick kick Southern led comfortably 42-7 going into the fourth.
Joey Hukill ran back a 47 yards interception for Line Mountain's last score, while Jamie Slotterback ran a 24 yard touchdown for Southern to make it a 48-13 final.
Morton had 18 carries for 184 yards while Tim Benner ran for 98 yards on eight carries for the Tigers.
Beninsky led the Eagles on the ground with 63 yards on six carries while throwing for 76 yards on 5-for-13 passing.
