The South Williamsport Lions Club will once again be hosting the PIAA District 4 All-Star Football Game at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 29 at Rodney K. Morgans Stadium in South Williamsport.
The two teams have been practicing and look to showcase their talents as the North squares off against the South in a spirited exhibition game. The game highlights the dedication student-athletes in District IV give to the sport. It allows them to display their abilities to a wider audience, and demonstrate their love for the sport. The coaches of each team have also given selflessly to prepare the players to play with the best the Northern Tier and Central Pennsylvania have to offer.
The players will also attend a banquet in their honor on June 28 where they will be lauded for their accomplishments.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and proceeds benefit the South Williamsport Lions Club.
The NTL will have 15 participants.
Troy has four participants, Lucas Havens (QB, OLB), Tanner Buckley (ILB), Delbert Lewis (DT) and Zach Root (TE).
North Penn also has four with Skye Stiner (TB), Marquis Delgado (WR, CB), Nathan Stettler (OG) and Nick Harer (C).
