Dominick Bragalone ran for 301 yards and four touchdowns to lead South Williamsport to a 49-21 victory over Canton in NTL small school action on Friday.
With the win South is 2-0, while Canton falls to 0-2 on the season.
Riley Hengler started things out for South with a 45-yard touchdown catch from Matt Boone at 8:51 of the first quarter. Brett Garbrick hit the extra point to make it 7-0.
At 6:14 Bragalone scored on an 86-yard run and just 11 seconds later he scored on a 26-yard run. Garbrick hit the extra point after both scores.
At 9:43 of the second quarter John Peters scored on a 17-yard run and with 34 seconds left in the half Bragalone scored on a five-yard run with Garbrick hitting the point after each time.
At 4:29 of the third quarter Bragalone scored his fourth touchdown of the game from 75 yards out to make it 42-0.
Noah Barnett got Canton on the board at 11:18 of the fourth on a four-yard run and Brian Jannone hit the extra point. At 9:16 South answered to go up 49-7 as Ryan Foran scored on a 78-yard run and Garbrick hit the extra point.
Canton's Gavin Hoffman ended the game with back-to-back touchdowns, scoring on a five-yard run with 4:41 left and a eight-yard run with 31 seconds left with Jannone hitting the extra point after each.
Hoffman led Canton with 55 yards rushing on six carries with two scores and John Bowman had 12 carries for 54 yards, while Tyler Cole had 30 yards on nine carries, Barnett had 29 yards and a score on four carries, Parker Jones had 27 yards on four carries and Tim Bassett gained 23 yards on nine carries.
Bragalone had his 301 yards on 23 carries and Foran had the one carry for 78 yards, while Peters had three carries for 22 days.
Bowman was 4-for-11 passing for 41 yards and Barnett caught two passes for 23 yards, while Bassett had two grabs for 18 yards.
Boone was 5-for-9 passing for 80 yards for South.
