After starting the year 0-4 the Canton Warriors won their fifth straight game on Friday, beating Montgomery 42-0.
Canton jumped out to a 28-0 lead at the half and cruised to the victory.
Tyler Cole started the scoring at 9:02 of the first quarter as he caught a 20-yard touchdown from John Bowman. Brian Jannone hit the extra point to make it 7-0.
Cole added the next score on a 64-yard run. The kick failed and at 3:03 it was 13-0.
With 3:57 left in the half Bowman scored on a one-yard run and Jannone the two-point try was good to make it 21-0. Chase Pepper caught a 10-yard touchdown from Garrett Wesneski with 45 seconds left in the half and Jannone hit the extra point to make it 28-0 at the half.
In the third quarter Tim Bassett caught a 10-yard touchdown from Bowman and Jannone hit the extra point to make it 35-0 at 3:45.
Cole scored on a 22-yard run with 9:32 left in the game and Jannone hit the extra point to cap the game's scoring.
Bowman ran for 146 yards on nine carries and Cole ran for 114 on 12 carries. Bassett had 59 yards rushing on 11 carries.
Bowman was 6-for-12 passing for 88 yards and Wesneski was 1-for-2 passing for 10 yards.
Pepper had three grabs for 51 yards and Cole had two catches for 29 yards.
Tyler Betz led Montgomery with 16 carries for 54 yards.
