Michael Ward had 250 yards rushing and three touchdowns to lead Sayre past Montgomery 48-19.
The Redskins out scored the Red Raiders 35-6 in the second half to break a 13-13 tie.
After a scoreless first quarter Montgomery's Sergi Cole hit Keanu Sauers for a 24-yard scoring strike to go up 6-0 with 9:56 left in the first half.
The Redskins would quickly counter as Ward had touchdown runs of four and six yards to put Sayre up 13-6.
Then with 7:21 left to play Raider Zach Shadle had an 80-yard touchdown run to make it 13-13 at the half after the extra point.
Then in the second half Sayre scored five straight touchdowns, starting with a 23-yard William Hudock run at the 10:20 mark of the third quarter. After the JP Harbst point after, Sayre led 20-13.
A Matt Ingrassia 5-yard run five minutes later put the Redskins up 27-13 after Harbst's kick.
Then 10 seconds into the fourth quarter Ward scored on a 23-yard touchdown run to make it 34-13 after Harbst's point after.
Ingrassia then scored on a 21-yard touchdown run followed by Harbst punching one in from a yard out to put Sayre up 48-13.
Cole would hit Sauers for a 36-yard touchdown strike with no time left on the clock to make it a 48-19 final.
Ingrassia had seven carries for 61 yards while Hudock had four touches for 49 yards. Harbst finished with 31 yards on three carries.
Shadle led Montgomery with 184 yards on 29 carries while Cole was 6-for-14 for 65 yards with two picks for the Red Raiders.
Jacob Goodrich and Ward had interceptions for the Redskins.
