WELLSBORO — The Green Hornets scored 21 first-quarter points on their way to a 35-7 win over Bloomsburg on Friday night.
Chase Moser had a pair of long touchdown runs in the opening quarter and he finished with 197 yards and three scores on 16 carries.
Moser got the scoring started with a 44-yard run at 8:09 of the opening quarter. The kick was blocked and it was 6-0.
Moser had a 58-yard scoring run with 24 seconds left in the quarter and Nic Ingerick hit the extra point to make it 21-0.
In the second quarter Bloomsburg got on the board as Coty Kashner ran in from a yard out and Lance Klinger made the kick to make it 21-7 at the half.
Moser had a 30-yard scoring run at 8:42 of the third quarter and Ingerick hit the extra point.
In the fourth with 1:57 left Tremper scored on a 10-yard run and Ingerick hit the extra point to cap the scoring.
Moser gained 197 yards on 16 carries with three touchdowns.
Tremper gained 90 yards with a score on 20 carries.
Henry was 3-for-11 passing for 109 yards and a touchdown and Lamphier had two grabs for 100 yards and a score. Parker Mann had a catch for nine yards.
Tremper had 15 tackles on defense and Johnny Rowland had an interception.
Nick Anderson threw for 42 yards on 7-for-12 passing for Bloomsburg and Kashner ran for 68 yards and a score. Tommy Harrison had four catches for 27 yards.
