The loss would leave Towanda with a 1-6 record on the season so far, and give Central Columbia their first win.
BLOSSBURG — With most expecting a high-scoring affair at Jones Memorial Field, the defenses showed only to quiet the offensive fireworks in the fourth quarter in North Penn’s 30-20 win over Troy.
On the evening of their homecoming celebrations, the hosting Warrior Run Defenders defeated the North Penn-Mansfield Panthers 41-28.

TROY — With Troy looking to fight back and tie the game, the Wellsboro defense came up big late Friday during their 14-12 win over the Trojans.
TOWANDA — It was a heartbreaking homecoming loss for the Towanda Black Knights last night under the lights, as the visiting Athens Wildcats would step off the field with a 56-13 victory.
SAYRE - The Sayre Redskins, led by Garrett Weaver (176 yards on 12 carries), bested the Rams by the score of 54-8 on Homecoming.
TROY - In the ultimate battle of power versus speed, power won as the Troy Trojans defeated the Binghamton Patriots 48-45 in a non-league contest at Alparon Park last night.
WYALUSING - The Wyalusing Rams reeled in an easy 59-6 homecoming win over the Canton Warriors last night under the lights at Peterson Stadium.
