The Canton Warriors scored 26 first-half points on their way to a 38-0 win over Bucktail on Friday as they picked up their first win of the season.
Ridge Moore started the scoring for Canton at 4:48 of the first quarter when he hit Brett Wesneski on a 39-yard pass and Zach Rentzel hit the extra point.
James Bowman made it 13-0 with 1:24 left in the quarter when he scored on a 13-yard run.
Canton added to the lead with 9:14 left in the half when Gavin Hoffman scored on a one-yard run. Rentzel hit the kick and it was 20-0.
Moore scored on a 10-yard run with 31 seconds left in the half to give Canton a 26-0 lead at the break.
In the third quarter Hoffman scored on a four-yard run with 8:16 left and the two-point run failed and it was 32-0.
Bowman scored again with 11:28 left in the game on a five-yard run and the kick was blocked making the final score.
