The Cowanesque Valley Indians wrapped up their season with a 55-15 loss at Penns Valley on Friday night.
Penns Valley scored 21 points in both the first and second quarters of the win.
Dillon Steiger scored on a five-yard run at 8:44 of the first quarter and had another just 1:39 later for Penns Valley. With eight seconds left in the first quarter, Marcus Woodford had a 52-yard interception return for a score.
Christian Rudolph had an eight-yard touchdown catch from Andrew Tobias at 9:23 of the second quarter, and Ryan Ripka had a 53-yard touchdown run at 4:18.
Cowanesque Valley's Seth Huyler threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Emil Peterson at 2:01 to put the Indians on the board. Matt Barber had a two-yard run for CV.
Woodford caught a 27-yard touchdown from Tobias with 22 seconds left in the half.
In the third quarter, Tobias had his third touchdown, a 40-yard pass to Jared Hurd.
In the fourth quarter, Trent Fousnought scored for CV and Huyler had the two-point run. Ripka had a 63-yard touchdown with 1:14 left for Penns Valley.
Barber ran for 47 yards for CV and Corey Wells Jr. ran for 39 yards and Drew Brandes ran for 27 yards.
Ripka ran for 210 yards for Penns Valley.
Huyler threw for 166 yards on 5-for-12 passing for the Indians. Tobias threw for 124 for Penns Valley.
Peterson had two grabs for 91 yards, Brandes had a 57-yard catch, Wells Jr. and Barber each had catches. Hurd had four catches for 68 yards for Penns Valley.
