The Wyalusing Rams scored in every quarter on their way to a 32-27 win over Tunkhannock on Friday.
The victory is a big one for Wyalusing when it comes to district seeding points, because it comes against a AAAA school.
Derrick Clark started the scoring for the Rams with 3:58 left in the opening quarter as he scored on a two-yard run. Calvin Burke ran in the two point play and it was 8-0.
Tunkhannock quarterback Logan Cywinski answered with a one-yard run with 1:37 left in the quarter and Tunkhannock hit the extra point to make it 8-7.
The Rams added to their lead with 7:24 left in the half when Burke hit Will Martin on a 17-yard touchdown. Ryan Kipp ran in the two-point try and it was 16-7.
Cywinski ran in a six-yard touchdown with 1:31 left in the half and Tunkhannock hit the extra point as the Rams led 16-14.
Martin caught another touchdown in the third quarter, as he hauled in a 12-yard pass from Burke with 2:02 left in the quarter. Derek Frederick ran in the two-point try to make it 24-14.
Tunkhannock fought back in the fourth as Cywinski scored on a two-yard run with 10:30 left and the extra point was good to make it 24-21.
However, Frederick answered for the Rams with 7:37 left as he scored on an 18-yard run. Riley God ran in the two-point try to make it 32-21.
Tunkhannock struck just 50 seconds later when Cywinski scored on a six-yard run and the two-point try failed. The Tigers would get no closer.
Ryan Kipp ran for 138 yards on 13 carries for the Rams and Frederick ran for 120 yards on 11 carries, while Clark had 88 yards on 27 carries.
Burke was 8-for-14 passing for 110 yards and two scores and Martin had both touchdown catches. Kipp had two grabs, Clark had two grabs and Zach Bruyn and Frederick had catches.
