The Green Hornets defense pitched their fifth shutout of the season and Wellsboro rolled to a 64-0 win over Cowanesque Valley on Friday.
Alex Kozuhowski started things for Wellsboro with a 90-yard punt return. The extra point failed and it was 6-0 with 8:01 left in the opening quarter.
Henry scored on a 28-yard run with 8:17 left in the half and Henry ran in the two-point try as the Green Hornets went up 29-0.
Lamphier hauled in a two-yard pass from Henry with 5:05 left in the half and Collin Pietropola had the two-point run to make it 37-0.
Lamphier caught a 35-yard touchdown from Henry with 1:45 left in the half and Singer hit the kick to make it 44-0.
Kaleb Smith recovered a fumble and ran it back 16-yards for the score with 48 seconds left in the half and Singer made the kick to make it 51-0.
Kozuhowski had a 56-yard touchdown run in the third quarter with 11:29 left and Singer hit the kick to make it 58-0 and Clayton Orsborn had a 37-yard run with 3:59 left in the third and the kick missed to cap the score.
Henry ran for 43 yards and a score and Hosey ran for 55 yards. Orsborn and Kozuhowsi each ran for 56 yards.
Parker Jones had nine tackles and forced a fumble.
Matt Barber ran for 75 yards on 15 carries to lead CV and Drew Brandes ran for 19 yards. Seth Huyler threw for five yards and Skyler Vinluan had one catch.
